Continuously Track Filings, News, and Events (Roadmap Capability)

This page describes a planned Privora capability — continuous signal tracking. The goal is to continuously track filings, news, and events around your holdings and watchlist context and explain their impact in context, rather than surface a stream of fragmented alerts. The capability is not yet live; this page describes what we want it to become.

What We Mean by 'Continuous Signal Tracking'

The continuous signal tracking capability we have in mind monitors filings, news, events, and price changes continuously across your holdings, watchlist assets, and market themes, and explains their significance and ongoing impact in context. This describes the planned target shape on the roadmap, not a currently shipping capability.

Why We Believe Fragmented Alerts Are Not Enough

1

High information volume, low continuity

Many signals arrive, but without a thread connecting them it is hard to build a coherent picture over time.

2

Hard to judge which signals are truly relevant to your portfolio

A generic news item may or may not matter to your specific holdings — without portfolio context, the relevance judgment falls entirely to you.

3

The same event rarely ends with one notification

Important events develop over time. A single alert cannot capture whether something requires ongoing attention.

How We Plan to Build It (Design Goals)

1

Build a monitoring context from holdings and watchlists

(Planned) Tracking will start from your actual portfolio and watchlist, so signals are filtered through your personal investment context.

2

Continuously track filings, news, price anomalies, and theme changes

(Planned) Multiple signal types monitored on an ongoing basis, not only when you remember to check.

3

Use AI to summarize and explain key signals

(Planned) Rather than surfacing raw data, the system will synthesize signals into clearer explanations of what is happening and why it matters.

4

Help build a long-term monitoring framework

(Planned) The goal is a durable research and monitoring cadence, not a stream of one-off alerts.

Which Signals We Want to Cover

  • Company filings and announcements (planned coverage)
  • Sector and thematic shifts (planned coverage)
  • Price and trading volume anomalies (planned coverage)
  • Important news and events relevant to your holdings (planned coverage)

How We Want It to Differ from an Information Feed

Not a broad broadcast

Signals will be filtered and explained in the context of your holdings, not sent to all users indiscriminately.

Emphasizes relevance to your portfolio

The question we want to answer is not "what happened" but "does this matter to my positions and why".

Emphasizes continuity and explanation over one-time exposure

The goal is for events that matter to be tracked over time, with ongoing context, rather than a single notification that fades from view.

Who It Will Be For (When It Ships)

People who want to reduce information noise

For investors overwhelmed by data volume who want signals relevant to their actual positions.

People who want to track multiple assets

For investors following a large number of holdings or watchlist items who need systematic tracking.

People who want a stable research cadence

For investors who want monitoring to be regular and structured, not reactive and sporadic.

Common Questions about This Roadmap Capability

Is this capability live today?
Not yet. This page describes a planned Privora capability for continuous signal tracking. The live, shipping capabilities related to this area are AI portfolio analysis and portfolio risk monitoring; news and announcement tracking is the next item on the roadmap.
What can I use today?
The live capabilities are AI portfolio analysis and portfolio risk monitoring. The first helps you understand holdings, exposure, and event impact in portfolio context; the second focuses on portfolio-level risk structure. These two form the foundation that news and announcement tracking will build on.
Why is this on the roadmap rather than shipped?
We believe the value is not in adding another push notification but in filtering, explaining, and connecting signals over time. To get that experience right, we wanted the portfolio-context and risk-structure foundations to be solid first — and those are the two capabilities that ship today.
Which assets will it cover at launch?
The design intent is to cover the holdings and watchlist assets that already exist in your platform context, without requiring you to maintain a separate monitoring list. Specific market and data-source coverage will be defined during engineering implementation.
How will I know when this ships?
